Here’s a short video using some of the video equipment my library currently uses to make our YouTube videos (check out our YouTube channel!). [Also, feel free to subscribe to my YouTube channel. You’ll get a weird mix of camera, microphone and equipment tests, music, etc, so be warned!]
We own 4-5 of these camera/mic combos, and have put the cameras and microphones in bags, so everything’s easy to find. We actually have one camera/mic continually set up for staff, with some lights and a simple backdrop … so they just need to hit “record” and they’re good to go.
So – watch this video. As you’re watching, check out how the video looks and sounds. I think this video setup does a great job of capturing whatever we need!
Video Equipment used in this video:
Here’s the list of equipment used in this video:
- Camera: Canon M50 Mark II
- Microphone: Rode Wireless GO II
- Tripod: Joby GorillaPod 3K PRO
Other equipment we use at the library:
- Shotgun microphone: Rode VideoMic GO
- Larger tripod: Slik Pro 700 DX Tripod (yes, I accidentally said “Silk” in the video. Yikes!)
- And a bunch of lights, different lenses, etc.
Are you using anything that’s not on this list? If so, please share!
